Woven vs Expanded Gutter Mesh
Hole size is the main difference between our two core meshes. Expanded mesh has larger 3 mm holes that stop leaves and nesting birds while draining fast. Woven EmberGuard tightens that to 2 mm, which shuts out finer debris, and it's the one we usually suggest for homes that back onto bush.
Both our aluminium meshes carry our proprietary coating and the same 10-year anti-fade guarantee. Quality is the same across the range, so the choice comes down to the hole size and finish that suit your roof and surroundings.

Do you decide which mesh I get, or do I?

Is the more expensive mesh always better?
